Does it really fold flat?
Yes. The soft-shell body folds down for hotel rooms, lockers and the trip home.
Is it a hard case?
No. It is a foldable soft-shell carrier for transport and light everyday protection, not a crush-resistant case.
What if it does not fit?
Return an unused, clean carrier in its original condition within the window on our returns policy.

Only had improvised bags before this, so I don’t have a bunch of other head carriers to compare it to. I wanted backpack straps and somewhere to put the empty bag once I’d unpacked. This covers those things. Also my sona has a slightly judgmental expression and seeing it through the front while I pack the rest of my stuff is very on brand for him.

This is my carry-around bag. Hard case is staying in the rotation for when I need rigid protection. Glad to have both, honestly.
I’m very good at buying badges and very bad at buying practical things for cons. Had multiple pieces of art of this character before I had a decent way to carry the actual head. Finally sorted that out. The straps were the reason I got it; being able to see my sona through the front is the part that makes it feel like something fun instead of just another bag.
Turns out I like the clear bag in pictures more than I like carrying one myself. Nothing wrong with the idea. I’m just pretty private about furry stuff outside events and would get more use out of an opaque version.

Mine fits, which was my biggest concern. I wouldn’t tell someone “oh yeah yours will fit” just because they also have a canine sona though. Put our heads next to each other and they’re completely different shapes. Measure first.
Head has its own bag now. Somehow this makes packing feel like I have my life together. I do not, but it helps.
Went back and forth on this because my tote technically worked. Used RoamSona for a weekend and the difference was mostly all the little stops. Getting the room key. Checking directions. Pulling my suitcase while trying to reply to the group chat. Nothing dramatic happened. I just handed my head to other people less often. Still a purchase I had to think about at this price, but I’ll keep using it.

Hands free, yes. Small, no. You are still wearing a bag with an entire head in it. I had to get used to how much space I was taking up when turning around.
I’m usually the person asking a friend to hold my head while I find my badge or answer a text. Then they wander three feet away and I immediately want it back. Backpack situation works better for everyone involved.

Love the clear front when I’m around other furries. Felt a little differently walking through my very normal hotel lobby at breakfast lmao. That’s on me, the product photos were not hiding this information.

It’s useful, I’m just not sure I needed a dedicated head bag as much as I thought I did. I mostly drive to small meets and go straight from the car to wherever we’re suiting. My old duffel was fine for that. If I was walking between a hotel and convention center all weekend I’d probably feel differently.

Happy with it, but measure your actual head. Including the ears. I almost went off the measurements for my old sona, which would have been a very expensive way to remember they are different sizes.
Bought this for the part of the con nobody puts in their cute recap videos. You’re tired, your phone’s almost dead, you have a bag of dealer’s den purchases, and now you need to carry your head back to the room. Having it on my back made that whole situation less annoying. That’s pretty much the review.

Will my fursuit head fit?
The carrier’s published outer dimensions are 10.6D × 13.7W × 15.7H inches (27 × 35 × 40 cm). Measure the widest points of the head, including ears, horns and hair. Because outer dimensions are not the same as usable interior space, unusual or near-limit shapes should use Fit Help before ordering.
Is this a hard protective case?
No. It is a foldable soft-shell carrier. It can help with dust, everyday grime and normal carrying, but it is not crushproof and should not be treated like a hard flight case.
Can I check it as airline luggage?
We do not recommend using the carrier by itself as checked luggage. Baggage handling can involve crushing and impact. If you fly, confirm the current cabin limits with your airline and use extra structural protection whenever the head is out of your control.
Is it waterproof?
The clear PVC surface can be wiped clean, but the finished carrier has seams, mesh and zippers. We do not market it as fully waterproof. Avoid prolonged rain and never store a damp fursuit head inside.
How do I care for the carrier?
Remove the head after use, let both items dry completely and wipe the carrier with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh solvents on the clear panel. Store it folded only when fully dry.
What happens if my head does not fit?
Return an unused, clean carrier in its original condition within 30 days of delivery. Contact us first so we can confirm eligibility and send the correct return instructions.
